      Pick up a pretty cookie tin -- Wal-mart has ton throughout the holiday season for just a dollar or so each, Alternatively, you could pick up a Colorful Mixing bowl:

      Fill it with the Following:

      * cookie cutters
      * sm. pkg. of chocolate chips
      * Different Kinds of Nuts (Small
      package of walnuts, almonds)
      * decorator icing set
      * assorted sprinkles / hard candies
      * Various Cookie Mixes (see recipes)

      Decorate tin with some ribbon and a wooden spoon.

      Regarding Splenda. It is derived from sugar in a chemical process. Their claims of being made from sugar is true, they just leave out the fact that they process it till it is nothing but a chemical.

      If one chooses to not use Splenda type products, then can just use the regular brown sugar. It'll still turn out -extremely- good.
