Gooey Butter Cakes
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350. Combine ingredients & mix well. Pat into lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Set aside while preparing filling.
Filling:
1 (8oz) cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
1 (16oz) box powdered sugar
Beat cream chees until smooth. Add eggs & vanilla. Add butter & beat. Add powdered sugar & mix well. Spread over cake mixture. Bake 40-50 minutes. (You want the center to be gooey, so don't over bake.)

Oh, here are some Variations!:
1.) Use a chocolate cake mix with cream cheese filling. Then add chocolate chips on top.
2.) Use chocolate cake mix. Add 3/4 to 1 cup peanut butter to filling. Add chocolate chips on top.
3.) Use spiced carrot cake mix. Add chopped nuts & shredded carrots to filling.
This is my absolute all time favorite cake! Thanks for the variations.
