Stuffed Mushrooms
1 lb fresh whole mushrooms
1/3 cupp shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/3 cup bacon bits
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup melted butter
Clean mushrooms well. Remove & chop stems. Saute onion & stems in butter. Add bacon bits, cheese, seasonings & breadcrumbs. Mix well & spoon into mushroom caps. Place in buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.

Stuffed Mushrooms,
Now these are the bomb - I love them - my DH does too. When I find mushrooms at a good price, I usually take the time to make these. Last year I made them for my brother and his wife - and she just love them. We could make a meal out of these if we could get away w/ it.

Yeh, my mom & my husband both LOVE these!!! I've already been asked to make these for Christmas again this year.
