When you have moles tunneling in your yard they are usually after white grubs. Destroy the grubs and the moles move away. This is a case of spending more to get better value. I recommend Milky Spore is a bacteria that specifically goes after white grubs but is harmless to people and other animals. The value to this is it does not poison the environment AND the effects of one application last 15-25 years.

Shop around, I know you can get it off of Amazon.

Sounds like great ideas for repelling moles! I'll have to go find some castor oil and try the first remedy, because I think we are too far into the cold season to apply milky spore right now. In the Spring I'll try Milky Spore for a more lasting recipe. Thanks!

Thanks for the recipe, its getting warmer out and this is the first thing i'm gonna do in the process of restoring my lawn. Hopefully it will drive the tiny little pest away from my yard.

Today is a new beginning, another day to give thanks and praise.

Milky spore is an organic product that you can buy to kill the grubs in your lawn and soil which in turn will make the moles leave. The only reason you have moles is because you have their favorite food living in your lawn. If you kill the japanese beetle (the grub stage) the moles will go away permanently.

The plant may send up new growth from the roots, depending on how much damage was done and how old the plant is.

The top of the plant can be encouraged to grow roots by taking a cutting putting...
