thank you. i am going to start slow with just a few plants and grow them to seedlings here in the house, then transplant them outside... i have heard the crops tend to do better in florida when you do it that way... we shall see hope you get rain soon!

Funny that I came across this thread. I recently told my husband I wanted to make raised beds in the front yard. I want to grow broccoli, potatoes and carrots this fall. Thank you for the great information.
