If you buy baby wipes or diaper rash cream at Super Walmart shop around the store for the best price. For instance I noticed the other day the baby wipes in the baby department were more expensive than the baby wipes in the isle up next to the pharmacy. It was about a 40 cent difference just for shopping in another area of the store for the exact same wipes. This was also true for the diaper rash cream and a few other items. Check it out it may be the same in your local store.

I have noticed that with the "wet toilet papers" if you buy them in the toilet paper aisle they cost more than the ones up in the beauty department.

That is very interesting, smart marketing on their part I guess.
I will have to check and see if I see a difference here.
I am guessing since the others are in the baby department they count it as a specialty department. Let us know what you find. It's interesting though that you can save money just by looking in area other than the one you think they would be in. But be careful that you don't pick up unneeded items on your way over. I know at times I am tempted to stop and look.
its most likely a marketing thing, I'm guessing they put the more expensive things in the main isles people check for certain items to make more money then the cheaper brands are tucked in a different isle- expecting people will not have the time to look for the best bargains.
I read this the other day and since I had to go buy wipes today I checked it out. Same brand, same size, same scent (none) walmart brand wipes. 40 cent difference from pharmacy to baby departments! Thanks for saving me that much money; its almost as good as getting a coupon!
I, personally, know someone who thinks if the very same item costs 40 cents more it MUST be better.
I still don't understand how they can do this. If it's the same sku number wouldn't it have to be entered in their computers a certain way to ring up properly?
Im not sure myself how they get it to go through at different prices. Could be different upc's or something. They do it though, it may not be fair but they do it.
