First of all I love this site! I just have a few suggestions for easier navigation.
1st: I am not sure if there is a search button for the actual site (I am not talking about the google.com search button, but an actual button to search for recipes on budget101.com) but I think it would be nice to have one to be able to search through recipes easier or to search for information in forums. Please let me know if there is a search button for this site as I have not been able to find one.
2nd: If possible, I would like to be able to hover over the words on the top banner (Home, Forum, Downloads, Blogs, Coupons, etc.) and be able to see a drop-down menu with the options underneath it. This would be instead of having to click on “Forum” and go to the Forum page to get to “New posts”, “Gallery”, “Private Messages”, etc. We could just move our mouse over “Forum” and see an option to go to the forums, new posts, gallery, etc. This is exactly how “Coupons”, “Crafts”, “Do it yourself”, and the other links are constructed in the second row. I think this would make it look a little bit less busy up at the top and it would make it easier to get to certain sections. - November 10, 2012 at 11:09 pm #434666wilbe95
There is a search for the site: Budget101.com – – Search Budget101.com
you can also click on the ‘Home’ button at the top; go to ‘Recipes’ on the left side and search there. Hope this helps you some. - November 11, 2012 at 3:35 pm #434709laxmom

The Google Search button IS the search button for recipes on the site. It only searches Budget101 & GB101 (sister site). It doesn’t provide results outside of those sites.2nd: If possible, I would like to be able to hover over the words on the top banner (Home, Forum, Downloads, Blogs, Coupons, etc.) and be able to see a drop-down menu with the options underneath it.
Thank you for the suggestions. Currently our site offers more than 26 sections and 400,000+ pages. It’s very difficult to put all of those sections in one spot and still have them appear organized. The drop down tabs are for actual sections (provided in the 2nd row, as you mentioned) for easier/cleaner navigation. There are also complete section navigations located on the top left hand side of every article page. Having drop down buttons in those particular tabs (Home, Forum, Blogs) is not a possibility due to the limitations of the platform we are utilizing. Coupons already has a drop down box and Downloads doesn’t require one as it doesn’t contain multiple sections.
