    • Beach Sand Foot Scrub Bath Recipe

Next time you're at the beach, consider bringing home a small baggie full of the lovely decadent sand to create this refreshing foot scrub you can enjoy all year long.

      You'll Need:
      2 tbsp Canola oil
      2 tbsp dry beach sand
      3-5 drops favorite essential oil

Spread the sand into a thin layer on a cookie sheet to dry. Once it's completely dry combine all the ingredients, apply liberally to your feet, rubbing them well.

      Rinse off!

At the beaches in San Diego, it is illegal to take the sand home as they have to ship it in. Be sure to check first where ever you are. Sorry

Re: improve a cake mix ?

One of my favorite things to add to cake mix is: instead of water and oil add applesauce. This can make it moist and if doing a spice cake add nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon.
