What is It?
ARM & HAMMER Super Washing Soda Detergent Booster adds extra cleaning and freshening power for tough jobs throughout your home. Super Washing Soda works as a detergent booster for your laundry and can also be used all throughout the house as a household cleaner.
Super Washing Soda helps to neutralize and eliminate odors, not cover them up with perfumes. It is unscented and contains no water pollutants or dyes.

Laundry Section at Walmart, Target, Major Grocery Store Chains, etc
Super Washing Soda comes in a 55-ounce carton. If you are having trouble locating this product, you may want to ask your local store manager to order it for you. It may be helpful to provide the UPC number: 33200-03020.
What's In It?
Super Washing Soda is 100% sodium carbonate. It does not contain fragrance, surfactants or other additives. Not to be confused with Baking Soda which is sodium BIcarbonate

I live in Canada, and can find it at the local superstore.
in the same place i can find Washing Soad, Borax and washing soap, for my home made laundry soap.

I was hoping 1 of our CA members would be able to answer this for you, but none have said anything thus far.... I would suggest asking your local supermarket or big box store (walmart/ Target, etc) whether they carry it.

I am in Oregon and the only place I have found it is at WINCO--I believe that chain is also in CA.

i was told once that if you cant find it, to microwave baking soda for about 10 minutes and it will turn into sodium carbonate. i havent tried it since i can find it next to the calgon in the laundry aisle.

I couldn't find it at my local Wal-Mart but did find it at the Hy-Vee (grocery store).

Ok here's what I honestly did!!!
I could not find washing soda anywhere either!! We're in a pretty small town, I searched every market we had here to no avail. Really didn't feel like traveling further and coming up empty handed. I had been so excited to have found the recipe when I first joined, I wanted to make my laundry soap ASAP so....... I light bulb went off in my head. 
We used to have a pool at our old house. I remember that the PH+ we used, from HTH, was sodium carbonate. Off I went to Walmart! They had already began clearing out the summer merchandise and I was praying I would find some PH+ somewhere. Sure enough, after a bit of digging, I found two bottles of it. Got them each for $2.50!! Which has enough to make three batches of laundry soap! That should hold me over for a while until I figure out where to find the washing soda, if not I'll jsut grab a few more bottles at the end of season next year!
