Want to start running

I would like to start running (jogging) for health, and I need to start doing this slowly. I looked online and found a running program called Couch to 5K. It's a walk-run program that gradually increased the amount of run time and decreases the amount of walk time so that, by week 9, you're running 3 miles without walking.
