Cold, Rainy Spring Day

Rate this Entry
It's been cold and rainy here in southern Colorado for a few days now, so today I made the perfect cold, rainy dinner: chili. I cooked up a pound of ground turkey breast in some olive oil, added a chopped onion and a chopped orange bell pepper, and then dumped in some spices, tomatoes, and white beans. Thirty minutes later, dinner was served, bellies were filled, and the chill was erased for a little while.

It's MAY!!! It's not supposed to be so cold! It's been in the 40s here! But, until it warms up, I will improvise by cooking warm-me-up food!
