Ohhhh the In Law!

Rate this Entry
I truly have the in law from H&**! He wont go away, yes this is a venting session. It is either here or in my hubby's ear, so you got; it is here. Where was I???? Oh yeah! He wont go away. First he moved in here, I freaked out, then he moved out, then he borrowed thousands of dollars, now let it be known that is the amount I am personally aware that was given to him, as far of what the hubby has told me about, I dont want to know about the other amounts that I am sure I am not aware of. Then he couldnt stand it that his baby bro was in a good job making good money, so he applied four hundred times to the same job and never got called back, so what did the hubby do? You got it! He hand delievered his resume for him to his boss, and he got the job. After borrowing more money and my car numerous amounts of times, now he is back from training, and as I suspected......he is not selling. The only thing he has sold has been with my husband, and he didnt sell it, my hubby did, and he got credit for it!!! r! Then the hubby leaves for a month for a sales trip, the whole time he is gone, his bro sells nothing, nada, not a darn thing. Was blabbing to anyone and everyone who would listen, including myself that he couldnt wait for my hubby to come home so he could help HIM SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I honestly would think that as smart of a man that the hubby is, he would figure out that big bro over here is using him. So today was the first day my hubby was back to work, and guess what he anouced tonight? That him and his bro have sales appts. together all week!
I can feel the evil running through my veins, normally it is coffee, but tonight it is evil! LOL
I would love for him to be sent to some Island of annoying, useless, dumb, broke, overbearing, rude, and not to mention LAME for in laws!

Ok I feel better, really I am not a bad person, just had enough, and this was the only way for me to get it out w/o barking in the spouses ear!
You all rock! TTFN

I know it's frustrating. Chances are DH knows whats going on and would rather not admit it. If he admits it then he would have to deal with it. Wish I had a magic cure for you but I don't and I'm so sorry. I truly hope things smooth out for you.

The old saying goes, "We can pick our friends, but not our family."
Sounds like BIL needs to grow up..

Oh boy have I been in your shoes........my SIL moved in with us some years ago, and stayed for over a year. Drove me nuts. And used us to death. My hubby sure didn't want to admit that his own sister would use him like that. Now he looks back on it, and admits that she was. But at the time it was really hard to deal with. I really do feel for you girl, your in my prayers.

I am so sorry. Well today it all came to a head. Not only is the BIL a user he instigates the dh to drink. And the Dh didnt come home at all last night b/c of it. I was worried sick, and put my foot down. He is no longer allowed in my home, around me or my kids. There comes a time when boundaries have to be set, and for me this was the icing on the cake!

Good for you for putting your foot down. Sometimes you have to in order to make yourself very clear about things. I had to do the samething with my SIL. Bounderies are crossed and it can be to much.
