My Computer

I've been doing really well not having any computer problems. But the last few days--I don't know what has been going on with this machine. They say it's usually the user. I have always used Internet Explorer. I put robo fill on the comp about a week ago and then the comp started acting up. It wouldn't let me type in any forums and I couldn't send anything in my e-mail. I couldn't even go into system restore, and do anything. Wouldn't show the calender to do that. So finally after searching and searching I installed Firefox and running on that. Don't know if I did something or that Internet Explorer is having problems. About a year ago at this time Internet Explorer did the same thing to me...I guess it's a good thing that I have two accounts on this comp. so I could go in and take off robo.. Now taking off this program seems to have fix some of the problems.. I think also keeping a few off my computer might help too.. Shooooo Stay Away--Stand Back Away From Mom's Computer..

You know I've been having problems with Internet Explorer lately too. Right in the middle of doing something it'll just freeze up or shut down on me. I've searched for the problem, but can't seem to find it. I thought it was just me, but now I'm wondering. My kids don't get on that much, maybe once or twice a week, so I don't think that it would be that.

What version if IE are you using? The latest version, imo, is complete and utter CRAPOLA and will destroy your computer, but once again, that is mho. I had IE installed and and when I updated to their latest version 90% of websites would go to http:/// instead of a website, it failed to load pages, when I contacted them, no response. So I uninstalled IE and reinstalled a much older version and the errors and shut downs went away. The problem is, IE will update itself whether you have it shut off or not, mine sure as hell did.

Another thing you can do, is hit ctrl + alt + del (JUST ONCE) then click on processes and look to see what is running in the background of your puter. You might have a process that is interfering with another process on the computer.

I typed in "IE Crashes Constantly" in Budget101 toolbar search and LOTS and Lots of results came up:

    IE crashing constantly - Search

IE got on my nerves too much when I used it, I ended up switching to firefox because of how irritated IE got me.
