Spring Peeper Tuesday

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
With the warm days mixed in the last month I've keep waiting to hear our little Spring Peepers announcing Spring. These are Missouri frogs that start chirping when the air temps reach a low of 35 or higher. Mid-Morning today they started chirping away. A bright beautiful 77 degree day! I'm tired and sore all over but we got a lot of garden prep work done. We also went ahead and planted peas and carrots. Not suppose to plant anything until March 25th here but the forecast for the next 10 days has no freezing weather so decided why wait! I hadn't started harden off my broccoli plants so won't put them out until next week as planned. The boys got a great start on the root cellar. It was great to be out working and listening to those wonderful Spring Peepers singing to us! I so love the Spring time! I love to watch everything come back to life! Hope you got to share in this wonderful day where ever you are!

I'm still waiting here to hear the ones here. The chirping can get really loud too Lolll, but it's very welcoming...
