So yesterday I worked all day. I have a shift 11am-2:30pm and then take break, resume work at 4:30pm- 9:30 pm. But yesterday I was unable to take my break due to constant customer flow. x-x really really not fun. But after work I got to hang out with my friend that's been nothing but awesome to me. So that made it all worth it.
Today I worked 11am-2:30pm. Not bad. It just gets irritating sometimes since it'll be quiet then 4 different tables will walk in within 5 minutes of each other. That's really really hard to balance and get everyone's orders just right.
Today I had this one table that asked for their child to get fried rice as a side. So there's 2 different fried rices in the back, one's plain and just for lunch and the other is made by the chef fresh with veggies and meat. I thought getting a $2 fried rice would be fine, but apparently the customer didn't believe I gave him fried rice since the child had vegetables in his and his plate had plain rice that came with his meal. So I had to take it back and etc... Its like the 3rd time I've made a "mistake" in ordering food. The first time was writing out the word "Combination" so the cook thought it was a different meal since I needed to write "combo". The second time was a table was like "Sesame chicken" and I'm like "Okay" then they go "So the Sweet and sour chicken will feed us both?" And I go "...yes... Sweet and Sour chicken for you?" And they're like "Yes" So I change it they wanted the sesame x.x
