Origami Starrrrs

So, A while back I picked up an origami kit in China Town to make little stars. The only problem being the directions were only in Korean. So I completely failed at making them. A few years later I picked up another kit with English directions and started making them without so much frustration.

Now a days I found that loose leaf has just the right dimensions for making them so I don't have to buy the kit. Which is a huge relief since I can make one in a minute. I've found its a good party trick and its a cheap "keep myself busy" activity.

Directions are here if you want to give it a go- I've tried teaching other people and about 1 out of 3 people learn it pretty quickly.

Lucky Star

If you want to use loose leaf

Wide ruled= Leave red margin line and cut along the blue lines

College Ruled= Take off ONE red margin line and cut along blue lines.

One of my sons just loves origami, checks out books at the library all of the time and spends hours playing to see what he can make. He really loves to make the dogs. Can't wait to share this one with him!
