What did you get for Christmas?

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
I love my presents. I got much more than I thought I might get.

From my mother, I got the ice cream maker attachment for my KitchenAid mixer, slipper socks, a mini whisk, a Christmas ornament, and a bath set (Sleep) from Bath and Body Works (I never shop there, too expensive for me!).

My sister bought me body creme from Banana Republic that smells amazing (again, you won't see me in that store, budget reasons!)

My grandparents bought me a set of mixing bowls, the cookbook called Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfield, and wooden (NICE) salt and pepper shakers.

My daughters were each given $20 to spend on me. My oldest bought me an ocean breeze-scented candle, a sweet pea (my favorite scent) bath set, an Avon earring and necklace set (bought this one from the church's Christmas shop with her awana bucks), and a set of metal measuring cups. My youngest bought me a strawberry rhubarb candle (gel type), a cranberry chutney candle, the same bath set my oldest chose, and a small flower vase (from church).

My friends bought me chocolate-covered cherries, and a red sweater.

I feel like I made out like a bandit! I got so many of my favorite things. Cooking stuff, sweaters, bath stuff, and candles are all really high on my list.

I hope you all had a merry Christmas and are enjoying your family and your friends and your new toys, too.

Oh DohDohBird you sound like Ypu had such a lovely Christmas! I too feel like I made out like a bandit! My family went together and got me a food processor! I've longed wanted one but much to frugal to spend that kind of money!! I got a wonderful book on CD and slippers and gloves and the girl's made me a lovely scrapbook with tons of pictures from all our travels this last year and wrote lots of notes and comments in it. Really nice! My sister's got my a candy dipper thing. I most certainly wouldn't of bought one but it sure was nice to throw the chocolate in and forget and then go dip our stuff. I and my family had a lovely Christams and a lovely day after too!

My birthday happens to fall in January and my mother found a Cuisinart food processor on sale, so I guess I am finally getting one after all these years of cooking without one!

It is certainly a time saver. I chop tons of carrots, onions, etc.

Glad you got nice things, too. While it's not the important thing about Christmas, it sure is nice to get nice things now and again.
