Christmas baby

Good Morning yall!

Well my eldest daughter "Erica" turned 20 today!! At exactlly 17:07 military time (5:07pm) its kinda funny how you can remember certain things.
When she was born - it was a really tight year and all we had that year was a small table tree that the hospital had sent home with us. See we had been in the hospital since mid November and we had gotten discharged on Christmas day. Arron (DH) has stayed by my side everyday. He had taken leave and was able to stay with me. Erica was born at 10 pounds 9 ounces - the government didnt want to rush anything until it is almost too late. Mind you she was almost a month overdue.
When Arron, Erica and I came home - we rested for the most part of the day, but for the most part we were able to cherish our first Christmas together and our Christmas baby gift later in the day of few of his Army buddies came over with gifts that they were giving to Erica. It was very sweet. They had even brought food. So we didnt have to cook!! This time of year will always holds something a little more special for us in our home....

Merry Christmas Yall!!!

Lynn

There is just something so special about a December baby, my now 10 year old just had his on Sunday. So precious when they are so close to the holiday! As you mentioned some things you never forget-doesn't matter how old they are it seems like five minutes ago.

    Lynn,
You sure had me choking in the throat. I'm such a mush with stories of life. It's wonderful that you have been able to keep a journal for her too.
