grrrrrrr people can be so irritating

Why is it if you do not work outside the house everyone seems to think you have time to do everything? Just got a call from a neighbor who wants me to babysit 6 nights a week including weekends. This normally would not be a problem but the last time she asked me to babysit she didnt bring her child over here after I had rearranged everything I had to do that day and didnt even bother to call and let us know she wasnt bringing him. Then she says since you are at home and you go to school online I figured you could rearrange everything to keep him. Like I dont have Christmas plans which by the way this would affect since the parade is during the time they would be picking him up so we couldnt go and we are meeting with my mom on the 20th during the time she wants me to babysit. My other three children have sports events I go to etc. etc. etc. I sympathize with her but if she was a little more considerate of people she may not be having a hard time with things. Irritating, Irritating, Irritating.

Okay I think I am through venting now LOL

You hit that nail right on the head darlin' that is SOOO True. Ironically, the opposite is usually true, when you work in the house, you're doing 50 things at once, answering phones, on the puter, laundry/cleaning/cooking and keeping order - not too mention the kids in the picture.

Some days I put in 18 hours - and when you work from home, you NEVER get away from work, its always right there... staring you in the face.

Its so true. Even when you are on vacation from work, people seem to make plans for your time. Everything from taking them places to running their errands for them.
It is such a relief to know that others feel the same way. I thought that maybe I was being mean for thinking this way.

I was a stay at home mom for awhile, and I got the same thing. I felt like I never got a break, there is always something to do. And then I also had a neighbor do the samething to me. I just couldn't do it. She just thought that since I didn't work, right, I was working more hours than she was. So I also know that feeling. They have no idea, do they?
