I agree. When I saw the news my heart went out to those families. Shopping is not worth dying for. I think that people are forgetting the meaning of the season
Well I am glad that I am able to stay home, where its safe and shop if I want. Its crazy out there!!!
I agree not worth dying for, I always use my judgement! Never go alone, and do most of my stuff on line.
I agree. I looked at my Walmart flyer on Thanksgiving and said to myself there is nothing there I need to kill myself for. Little did I realize that some poor soul was really going to die over the stupid Walmart sale! 90% of our family Christmas was homemade and already wrapped to go under the tree when we get ready to go out and pick one to cut. We did each pick a person to buy necessities for (jeans, knee high fuzzy socks, water proof winter gloves, ect) but no one spent more than $20 on their assigned gift. I made memory quilts. My daughters made up hour long power point picture shows with accompanying music Cd's. Two of my son's went around all year asking about family stories & memories and have made books up with pictures for everyone. We're already plotting out for next Christmas! this is the first year we required home made gifts and I know we will all remember these gifts way longer than the store bought junk from Christmases past!
