Home school fun week

The public schools have this week off, but we're working through Wednesday because we take vacations at different times (we took off almost all of October because Dad was home from Iraq for 18 days).

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean we are trudging through boring textbooks!

This morning we're listening to a bible story, making smores snowmen for our Christmas tree, doing Starfall online (my kindergartener), playing computer games for math and reading (my fifth grader), cooking together, and going for a nature walk. It's a nice break from our usual currlicum (A Beka).

Sounds like fun! I am a home school mom also. We used A Beka for elementary and now my son is in seventh grade and I am doing various things with him.
