I've been MIA

Rate this Entry
Just got to thinking I have been MIA all weekend from my favorite site.
Busy, Busy, Busy
I held our churches first Women's event yesterday. It went so well. Enjoyed it a lot. Came home rounded up the fam and went to church. After church went to dinner with some friends...came home and slept like a baby
Today went bra shopping, and furniture shopping.
Came home with a bra, no furniture....still need to shop around.
And........I have done no Thanksgiving stuff at all so I will be fighting those crowds tommorow am.
Take care!

I noticed the King Soopers I shop at was insanely crowded Sunday morning with Thanksgiving shoppers, so I can imagine it'll get worse till Thanksgiving. We missed church on Sunday and were at the store getting sick kid supplies. I thought to myself, "WOW! Look at all these people shopping during my normal church hours! I never knew there was this Sunday morning grocery rush!" It didn't occur to me until reading your post that they were all there because it's almost Thanksgiving. lol

As for me and mine, we're skipping the cooking this year and going to Golden Corral (do you have one of those? it's a buffet). With my husband in Iraq, I just don't feel like making a feast at home. The kids are stoked: going OUT for lunch? Heck yeah, Mom! lol

No golden corral here, hometown buffet! I don't blame you, if my hubby was gone I would do the same. How long has he been gone?
    Take care

November 30th marks the one year point of his deployment. He should be home by mid-February.

Just a few more months then! That must be hard. I hope those months go by quick!
