Getting my act together

I've been so busy getting things done and my house has slowly gone to pot. I finally woke up to what was happening and came up with a plan to get my house clean and organized with under an hour a day dedicated to it.
I printed out a calendar for December and started putting daily chores on it. Like one day I whip through and clean bathrooms restocking TP and changing to clean towels. The next day I dust, clean mop boards & vacuum. The next day I wipe down kitchen appliances, cabinet fronts, take out trash and sweep & mop the floor. I was surprised to see I could take a damp rag and wipe down all the mop boards in 10 minutes, dust in 5 minutes.
Anyway I take Sundays off and have chores around the house getting done each day. 5 days into this and it seems to be working for me. I've already printed out January and maybe Sunday after a week of doing this I will be ready to plan out the next month. I had to take a shower after my dusting day! 5 ceiling fans really left me a mess! Short regular plan will get my house cleaned up and looking much better.
Still getting everything else done so maybe this will work. Before I would tackle a room at a time and it felt over whelming. I would work for a couple hours and often give up with the room half done. For some reason this seems to work for me. Hopefully it will keep working. I'm just wondering how soon my dear husband will notice and comment!
