Rate this Entry
1-2 lbs organic ground Buffalo meat
1-2 lbs organic ground beef (equal amount to Buffalo meat)
1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper
1 small yellow onion
1 bottle sweet baby rays BBQ sauce (I prefer honey BBQ)
pinch of salt and pepper
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of cayenne pepper
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs

Heat oven to approx. 400° allow to preheat during prep. Dice half of each of the peppers and a little over a quarter of the yellow onion. Once done with that add the Buffalo meat and ground beef and mix together with clean hands. Then add the eggs and mix. After add the seasonings and vanilla. Place foil over a cookie sheet or casserole pan to help with the clean up after dinner. Place the meat mixture on the foiled pan and begin to shape into a loaf or 2 if there is a total of 4 lbs of meat. Add a good amount of the sweet baby rays bbq to the top of the loaf (loaves) every 15-20 mins add a little bit more sauce to soak into the meat. Bake for about 45-55 mins check meat in the middle to make sure it is done. Enjoy! I made this recipe up last minutes in the store a very fun meal to make as well as absolutely delicious and makes great left overs!!

Sounds Delicious! Do you think it would work with ground turkey?
