STP Soup

Rate this Entry
1 Can Spam, cubed
cubed potatoes
diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
Salt and pepper to taste

Use as many tomatoes and potatoes as you need and more than 1 can of spam if needed. Depends on how many you are feeding. Boil all together until potatoes are tender. I have also added carrots, onions, mushrooms to this and it works well.

Cooking time about 30 minutes.

Serve with crackers of choice.

Have been making this since childhood. Great on rainy days or a hurry up meal.

That sounds delish, I havent had spam in years (well, except in my email, lol). It was a comfort food for us as kids, every once in awhile it would go on sale. I'll hav to pick up a can and give this a go, thanks for sharing!

I have not thought about spam in years. When my children were young, I would score the spam, put cloves in it and then bake it. They loved it. Money was tight then and spam was cheap.
