Wow- Preppers! Do you have more than 7 Days worth of Meals? You Might be a Terrorist!

Rating: 1 votes, 5.00 average.
If you make your own mixes, you might be a terrorist.... according to our "Government".

I don't normally share drivel like this, but in this case, it's true. The US Government wants to Classify anyone having 7 days or more worth of meals as a Terrorist!

Seriously, this isn't a joke.

The senate is going to vote on S 1867 tomorrow. Feel free to call your senators and ask them to support Rand Paul's amendment that aims to strike Section 1031 from the bill. Each call to your senator counts as 10,000 people.

Or you're stash of homemade mixes & canned yummies might put you on the Terrorist List.

What's this country coming to anyway?!

Crazy, I live in the county, and am too busy to shop every week so I ALWAYS have more than 7 days worth of food? The Red Cross advises stockpiling 3 months food supplies in the event of a disaster! LOL Only the politicians would dream up this crazy idea.

It's rather sickening. If you have guns (yes, of course we do, our family hunts!), if you stockpile- technically - right now I have at least 3 months of food. Not because of the possibility of disaster, but because grocery prices are a disaster, the economy is a disaster and Sales run in 3 month cycles! Oy, of course we buy when things are on sale and plan for their use when they Aren't on sale! I guess when you make $150,000+ a year as a politician, living off the American Dime, you don't care about pinching pennies.

I was warned this was coming. But I still can't believe this is true. My grandmothers always raise their own food. Almost everyone back then had at least a years worth of canned goods and salted meats. What ever happened to that? I myself grow some of our veggies and have a years supply of certain things like tomatoes or other veggies that get expensive in the winter. or home made jams and jelly. I wander if they mean a 7 days supply of whole meals or just parts of meals and who is to judge what a whole meal is to a family? this bill is way too undefined. I will be voting for Ron Paul!!! Thanks for posting this info.

Great way to get rid of 3/4 of the country! Most have guns and duh... the ammo to go with 'em! Many have at least a month's worth of food-- the state of Missouri is working hard to get it's citizen's to have at least a 3 month food supply on hand. I live in a big farm area, lots of folks are missing fingers. Still got all mine but they sure are scared and ragged looking! Working on farm machinery is hazardous duty! I'm guessing if our government gets so bad they turn to such a thing, then they'll use any excuse they want to collect those they want to get rid of. Maybe it's time to clean out all of Washington and get fresh blood in there! We must keep an eye on them and work together to read the fine print to hold them accountable.

I also found it ironic that the Red Cross and Ready.gov encourage you to be prepared for emergency situations but then when you are, you could be considered a terrorist.
A part of me thinks they made this lists trying to cover all their bases in case they wanted to investigate someone but a bigger part of me thinks that they have went to far with this. Another slippery slope in Washington DC!

    This is...beyond ridiculous.
I have way more than just a mere 7 day supply of food...More like a year's worth...weapons and ammo...yeah, check that too...
    Crazy and scary stuff...

LOL! FEMA advises you to have at least 2 weeks worth of food. Thanks to GMO foods I have to grow my own food and store it to survive.
