So much to do, so Little time!

Rate this Entry
Some days (heck, months and years!) it seems like their is so much to do and so little time to do it. If I took the time to write out a to do list, I honestly think I'd be so overwhelmed at the length that I'd crawl in bed and pull the covers up over my head!

With tax season nearly over our focus has gone from dealing with receipts, paperwork and tax forms to the garden and pre-planning canning season. Last year we put in a lovely mound garden with automatic watering timers which worked wonderfully. Over the last few days, we've incorporated a bit of natural fertilizer from the chicken coop into the tilled soil and with the storms overnight, today is the perfect day to create the mounds and start planting.

The problem is, I don't know I feel like planting this year. Our home-canned salsa is gone- so I need tomatoes, jalapenos, red onions, and green peppers. Dh prefers my tomato sauce over store-bought sauce, so I'll need 40#'s or so of fresh tomatoes for that as well.

I just can't seem to get in the Mood to plan it all out!

I know the feeling about planning out the garden. Usually by now I have the house full of seeds and little cups but haven't even thought about what seeds to get! As for the list, I would do nothing without my list. I just keep a notebook around that whenever a thought pops in that this needs done someday or that needs fixed it gets added. Of course lately my list seems to be getting longer and I am getting little done. Of course it would help a whole lot of the weather men would stop talking about snow and keep talking about the wonderful 70's we did have
