One of those day's

Rate this Entry
When you get a call at 5am saying they think your horses are 2 miles down the road you know it's going to be one of those day's! Thankfully our horses were all accounted for in the back pasture but took us 45 minutes to get there and find them and then they wanted to visit with us and get their treats. Right after throwing the planned breafast of canned fruit, cottage cheese and freezer muffins on the table got a frantic call from both St Jo son's needing me to go there today. So charged out the door with paper work for one and an hour later the other called and canceled his crisis but already 65 miles down the road. got the paper work to one and headed to the other to talk him through his problem so I wouldn't have to return the next day when he dealt with it again. Did some shopping while there and didn't get home until 4 PM. 11 hours of running. Yesterday I had spent the day canning ground beef and chicken and am so glad I have replenished my stores so I can just dump one bottle out and make taco salads real fast today. Life is good even on the run!

Well the nice thing about that day was I had 3 whole hours alone in the car. Silence is golden! going I had the cell phone on but coming home I turned that puppy off. Love the time to just think, ponder, pray and plan. DH who commuter for most of 30 years told me he never minded the drive, now I finally understand! LOL!
