A beautiful Monday morning

The sun is shining and it's not raining and around here you can't ask for more! Scrambling to get all our mowing done today as they are forecasting a full week of rain starting tonight and the grass is knee high in many places! Our Japanese Cherry tree is drowning so we are going to try digging it up and raising it higher so the water will run away from it. I learned how to make my very own powdered eggs over the weekend. So excited! I've been driving 30 miles to donate all our excess eggs to the food pantry twice a week so now I can dry them and once done I'll can them up with a 10 year shelf life. I will still be able to take eggs to the pantry but I can send them along with anyone going to town anyway instead of "having" to go to get them out of the fridge. I've been working with area churches, teaching emergency preparedness skills and about food storage for over a year now. We have started what we call "The Enoch Project". We are trying to not only take care of ourselves but also make sure our neighbors are taken care of and helping them thrive instead of just getting by. We even have Hy-vee & Walmart donating and keeping our meat freezers full. Everyone butchering is donating 10 to 20 % of their meat also. Lots of milk, cheese and eggs being donated and lots of produce even during the winter months we kept it up. We are feeling the Lord's blessings as we work together as one instead of fighting and looking at our differences. True miracles are happening. I am so grateful the Lord led us to this very special area. I know we are creating a safe zone for the pure in heart to come to and I am grateful to be a part of it.
