My Easy Chili

Cooler weather calls for warm stuff

2.5 -3 lbs. of Ground Beef
1 large Onion, roughly chopped
3 ribs Celery sliced Thinly
1 medium Green Bell Pepper, cubed
2 15 - 16 oz cans Stewed Tomatoes
1 15 - 16 oz can Diced Tomatoes
1 15 - 16 oz can Chili Beans
1 15 -16 oz can Dark Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
1 - 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
2 - 3 Cups of Water

Brown ground beef, with onion, celery and green pepper, season with salt and pepper. Drain well. In same pot stir together tomatoes chili powder and water, bring to a boil. Stir in drained beef/veggie mixture, taste for seasoning add more if desired. Stir in beans, simmer for at least 1 hour stirring occasionally. Or put in crock pot and turn to low to simmer most of the day till ready to serve...

I like to garnish with shredded cheese at least...or try sour cream too!

    Oh darn it I forgot - I ususally add a 15 oz can of beef broth as well to that easy chili...your choice!
