Got a lot done this weekend! Steam cleaned carpets and all sofa's and stuffed chairs. painted and roofed chicken coop. Reattached siding that was coming down after the big winds. Watched all sessions of general conference. Ground flour and made 3 loaves of bread. Got a lot to do for the next 3 days. Guess hard work will keep my mind off missing DH!

Wow! I've been sick so haven't gotten much done at all! I've been working on getting homemade breakfasts in the freezer and that's my project for the week. So far, I've frozen a few waffle servings, a few pancake servings, and a handful of "mcmuffin" servings. Tomorrow I'll add strata squares, then Thursday I'll add applesauce muffins. Friday I will add french toast sticks. I just add the leftovers from breakfast so that we have stuff to grab when mornings are busy.

Wish I had someone who would do all those lovely jobs for me , no fairies running around my house actually just the opposite once I get it cleaned I turn around and it is filthy again. Keep yourself busy it sometimes can be very healthy for a person

I wish I could keep breakfast things in my freezer but my family won't eat them. The only thing I can get by with is frozen cinnamon rolls that they can pull, let rise for 10 minutes and then bake. They like those a lot but no frozen french toast of pancakes will do in my house! Not even the ones from the grocery store will do. But most days it's not a problem. I am up way before anyone else so I through bacon onto the baking sheet and toss it into the oven and and ship up blender pancakes and start those while I whip up the eggs and get those going. Befor they know it I've got breakfast ready just as the first one is waking up. We also eat a lot of hot cereal with fruit. But I can freeze dinner meals, that's the time I am running behind and they love being able to pull something out of the freezer and pop it into the oven or crockpot. My family won't eat bread stuff out of the freezer either. They want it fresh so I bake twice a week to keep the cookie jar filled and the bread box full. I fill my freezer with dinner meals!
