Some things never change.

Rate this Entry
This year, I am driving 3 High school kids. Fun. I find myself laughing to myself a lot. The girl on my bus 'Allie' has been having a problem with a girl in her school.

One of THOSE girls! You know the girls I'm talking about.

Her name may change and so will her face. But her attitude is always the same. I call them life suckers. Because that's what they do. They suck the life right out of you with there snide comments and crap.

The one who's life is so crappy she has to make everyone else around her suffer. We've all had one. Or 6. In high school her name was Shelby. At my last job her name was Becky. You know the one... (Enter Jerk's name here) When you are fortunate enough to get rid of one another steps up to take her place.

I don't really know what to say to her to make her feel better. But it seems to me that even if I did say something its a lesson that we all have to learn.

Some things never change... Am I right?

Yeap, your right. Life is never fair and no matter what, where ever you are there will be some jerk to deal with. My 16 yr old is dealing with one at work. She works full time mostly days but works one night a week and has to deal with someone no one wants to deal with. She told her boss she'd rather have shorter hours instead of working one evening a week with her. I've told her she will always have someone like that to deal with. If she's lucky it will only be a co-worker but sooner or later she'll end up with one of those jerks as a boss. Gotta learn to deal with everyone, even the jerks/losers! Sorry but that's life and we all have to deal with it!

ugh, I totally know what you mean. I've found that escapism can really help. I just moved in with one- she's really angry that no one helps her but she really doesn't help her case when she verbally attacks people when they do help.

You are very right, it is a lesson we all have to live and learn from. One thing I can say today is that I know I am happy but not "that girl".
