Is it just me?

I need summer. My bones don't handle the cold well and it takes me until long about July to finally totally thaw out but not this year! We had 2 very hot day's in upper 90's the first week of June. then it turned cold. Last week we had a couple days in the 90's and I thought maybe we'd finally have some summer but it wasn't to be. We've moved straight into autumn it seems. Lots of rain and cooler temps. My bones are still aching for last winter and I'm wondering if we're rapidly moving right back toward winter now! I'm not ready for it. Maybe I need to go back south for a few weeks! I really need to feel the heat way down deep in my bones. DH says I need to start using his sauna but don't know if that will cut it if I just so back to these cool temp's the rest of the day! Are we moving right back to winter without ever having summer? I just have a feeling that's what we;re doing this year!

I live in SW Missouri, and the temps here have been very hot. No rain here for sometime now, we really need some in a bad way. Sounds like it's been a mild summer in the north, but in the south it's been a full blown summer. No leaves changeing here yet, the grass is turning brown now. So there won't be much mowing going on for the rest of what's left of the summer. I'd be happy to share some of the heat that we have here, no problem there. Now if I could just figure out how to get it up your way.............

Here in OKC our temps were triple digit. Now they are mid 90's with upper 80's coming by the end of the week - or so they tell us!!! We'll see. We have had rain but it comes in the night so by the time the sun comes up it just gets steamy. Wouldn't mind trading some of our weather for some of yours. There is brown grass here too but it is just burnt up.

Maybe I just need to head south and visit my family for a week down in Ozark area! I've enjoyed the very low electric bills this summer but would rather of roasted to thaw me out! I didn't realize you all were having a real summer down there!

In South Dakota it has been a mild summer. Last week we had a couple days of 90's but only 70's this week with wind so it feels like fall is in the air also.

Can really understand where you are coming from with the thawing of the bones..The summer here has been mild also in Ohio. The family has only had the air in the house turned on a few times.. The gardens that we planted didn't do as well as I thought they would.. Small tomatoes, cucumbers, only a few off each plant--once we picked the first few the plants died. Locals said it has been just way too cool at night, for the growth.. Very strange weather -- does this mean that the winter will be colder then normal ? Guess only time will tell.. Hubby has the sauna, I think I'd take him up on that offer.. Heat even for a short time to the bones is awesome. I have a weekly treatment of heat to my back and it's great. And by the time the next heat treatment is due, I'm more then ready... GO for it friend--you'll be amazed.. Enjoy....

I am also cold all year round -Our summer here in eastern Nebraska has been mild also -only a week of real heat. I get most of my warmth from my kitchen windows they face south & I spend time either sitting or laying there. Bobbi -ne
