Well, the education budget crisis claimed another victim...ME. It happened a month ago and I've been looking and looking and...sigh... With a hiring freeze, it's tough to get a position. There's just too many of us trying to get the same jobs! I realized last Saturday (after my visit to the PT and the 'new' insurance from the state kicked in;-|) that I didn't have enough money to finish the month. At that moment, an Avon commercial came on and I had a 'lightbulb' moment! LOL! I sold it before and did well...I should be able to do it again! Boy have things changed! I can truly work from home! I have a website -- AVON Representative SAUNDRA LANDES serving the Raleigh, NC area -- and can literally have customers around the world! I've been in business for two days and already have $94 in sales which equals roughly to $19. I know that it doesn't sound like much, but it's a start and I DIDN'T have to lift a finger! LOL! And I don't have to deliver (good thing! gas would be expensive to simply deliver a product a few hundred miles away) as the company ships directly to them and credits my account.
Okay, enough writing...there's recipes to read and post

Good Luck with Avon- I was considering it for a while myself. I have been out of work since Dec. 2008. Living in Michigan, even Avon is a hard sell. I will keep your website in case I need anything myself.

I can stand cold, but not heat...I can always put more clothes on, but can only take so many off before somebody goes "euuww..." LOL!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Liss! I'm also starting a mystical e-store with Arcana Soaps as the anchor product (love their oils and soaps). they just got back to me and like my idea, sooo...I'll have traditional products on one site and "off-the-beaten-path" products on another site. this latter idea is a concept that I've been toying with for years, hence purchasing the domain name -- Gypsy-Moon -- years ago. so I'll be busy getting my ducks in a row for the next month so I can get this all launched by the holiday selling season. my BIL is with the postal service, so he can help me with packaging and such. meaning, what to pack in which container, best shipping, how much to charge for shipping, etc.
I haven't given up on education, but there's just so many of us out there trying for the same position! I've got apps into Alaska, Utah, Colorado. in other words, location is not an issue with me I've also joined a site for tutors so maybe I can keep my fingers on some kids and still do the Avon and e-store.
go register at my sites, have a look around, and tell me what you think I work on 'em regularly!
