Chicken Ala King (Crockpot Recipe)
> 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted (low-fat)
> 3 TBSP flour
> 14 tsp. pepper
> dash of cayenne (red) pepper
> 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
> 1 celery rib, chopped
> 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
> 1/4 cup chopped onion
> 1 pkg. (10-oz.) frozen peas, thawed
> 2 TBSP diced pimento, drained (if desired)
> hot cooked rice
> In a slow cooker, combine soup, flour, pepper and cayenne pepper
> until smooth. Stir in chicken, celeryk, green pepper and onion.
> Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours until meat juices run clear.
> Stir in peas and pimento. Cook 30 minutes longer or until heated
> through. Serve over rice.
> 1 cup = 183 calories, 3g fat.
