• Tastes Of Italy Bread Dipping Mix

    Bring the flavor and aroma of Italy into your home with this ambrosial blend of Italian seasonings, virgin olive oil and served with crusty french bread for dipping. This do it yourself, make ahead seasoning blend makes a wonderful addition to a homemade Italian themed gift basket of goodies.

    * 1 Tbs. crushed red pepper
    * 1 Tbs. black pepper
    * 1 Tbs. dried oregano
    * 1 Tbs. dried rosemary
    * 1 Tbs. dried basil
    * 1 Tbs. dried parsley
    * 1 Tbs. garlic powder
    * 1 Tbs. garlic, minced
    * 1 tsp. salt, kosher


    Using a coffee grinder or spice grinder, combine all the spices together and grind. Attach a small label to the jar with the directions for use.

    * To use, put 1 tbls. of mixture in small bowl, pour extra virgin olive oil to suit taste, and swirl together. Allow the bread dip to set for 20-30 minutes to allow the flavors to properly marry prior to serving.

    * Makes enough for 8 uses
