Re: Store Coupon Acceptance Policies (Printed Coupons)
If your area does not have a Smith's or Fred Meyer's, and you are interested in the digital coupons for groceries, check your grocery store's web site. Smith's and Freddie's are part of the same corporation along with lots of others, like Fry's. You may have one of the other stores in your area. I like it because I don't have to carry around coupon papers and hand them to the cashier at just the right time or worry about whether this cashier is going to be nice or totally rude about all the coupons I want to use. Plus, many of them are multiple use coupons. They'll say can be used up to 5 times in single transaction, or the like, so it's like I have five coupons for each item and all I had to do is hand the cashier my shopper's card! Love it!
It's really nice to know this about the reducing the coupon amount to the items price. I had a coupon for like 2.00 off a makeup item I forget the brand and it included nail polish, and Target had the nail polish on clearance for less than the coupon was worth, I didn't want the money(overage) back or applied to my order just wanted the nail polish for free, and they refused the coupon! Told me the item had to be at least the coupon price or more! Oh that really bugged me that day too, it was the perfect sparkly color!!!
I'm living, laughing and loving my way through life as much as I can.
