    • Butterscotch Oatmeal cookie Mix

      Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookie Mix

      1/2 cup butterscotch chips
      1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
      1 cup old-fashioned oats
      1 cup buttermilk biscuit and baking mix
      1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
      1 cup buttermilk biscuit and baking mix
      Instructions for layering ingredients:

      Measure each item into
      layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or measure into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal. (Fits 1 qt Jar)

      Recipe Tag Directions:
      Combine the following until well blended:
      1 Pkg Mix
      1 stick of butter or margarine, melted
      1 egg
      1 teaspoon vanilla

      Shape into 1-inch balls.

      Bake on greased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are light golden brown.
      Makes 2-1/2 dozen cookies

      Substitute almond extract for vanilla in cookies containing almonds.

      To Make Bars, Prepare as listed above, Press dough into an 8x8-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 24 minutes or until bars are light golden brown
      Makes 16 bar cookies."
