10 tea bags (regular size tea bags- lipton, salada, luizianne, bigelow etc)
3 C. water
3 C. sugar
Bring the water to a boil, add the tea bags, reduce heat, COVER and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
Add the sugar, bring it back to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
Cool and store in fridge.
Mix 5 cups water & 1 c. Syrup. (or to taste)
Serve with lemon slices.
This ice tea syrup is great for making half and half lemonade/ice tea, or quick glasses of iced tea. It stores well for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
