Diet Arizona Green Tea
The ingredients for the real deal Arizona Zero Calorie green tea are: Premium Brewed Green Tea Using Filtered Water, Honey, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C), Natural Flavors, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Ginseng Extract.
If you’d like to make your own diet version, simply substitute the sugar for zero calorie sweetener instead. As you can see, they still use honey as an ingredient, so we don’t recommend substituting that.
You’ll Need:
8 c. water, Boiled
1 Lipton green tea bag
1/2 cup Splenda Zero Calorie (or 1/3) depends on taste buds!
2 T. honey
2 3/4 T. lemon juice
1/4 T. ginseng extract (we leave this out)
Steep one single Lipton tea bag in hot water for an hour. Add remaining ingredients, and serve over ice.
If you’re using Splenda no calorie sweetener packets you’ll need 24 (for 1 cup) or 8 packets for 1/3 of a cup. It really depends on how sweet you prefer your tea.

Love the idea of being able to make my own Arizona Green tea.
it says Arizona Green Tea”and later on you want me to use lipton Tea (black tea), how can this make Green Tea ????
Please reread the recipe carefully. It never states to use “Black Tea”, it states in the ingredients to use 1 Lipton green tea bag. When said tea is referenced in the directions, it means to use the Ingredient Listed, not a substitute.
i so look forward to making my own at home to save some money. thanks for all the copycat recipes
Does the T stand for Tablespoon or Teaspoon?
Anywhere on our site, A Capital T always stands for Tablespoon. A Lowercase t always stands for teaspoon.
Alternatively tbs = tablespoon and tsp = teaspoon.
How would you make a diet version?
