    • Lemonade Syrup (Concentrate)

      This simple recipe is great to make ahead of time and keep on hand for fast, refreshing lemonade. Blend with ice for a slushie treat on a hot summers day.

      You'll Need:

      2 T. Fresh grated lemon rind
      2 C. fresh lemon juice
      2 C. granulated sugar
      1 1/2 C. water


      Blend first 3 ingredients, Stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add the water, cover tightly and keep in the refrigerator.


      To serve, put 1-2 T. syrup (to taste preference) in a large glass with ice, then fill with water.

        This looks great! We were spending $4 a week on this at the store. Anyone know if Stevia or non-calorie sweetener can be substituted, and if so, in what quantity? Thanks!

      I turtle waxed my fridge so I don't have to do any hard scrubbing when it's cleanup time. A quick wipe down will suffice!
