Spicy Thai Chicken Over Ramen
First make the brown sauce
2 1/4 Cups Beef Broth (bouillon cubs are ok or you can use the ramen packets if you have beef flavored)
6 Tablespoons Oyster sauce
3 teaspoons dark soy sauce. (I just used regular soy)
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch or flour
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil and keep stirring until it thickens and set aside.
Place a large pot of water on to boil for the Ramen noodles. You'll be using 4 packs of Ramen Noodles. Let the water heat while you prepare the
2 cans of water chestnuts sliced I found these for .69 each at save a lot
3-4 Chicken breasts cut into cubes
3 Table spoons of Garlic Chili Sauce. If you would like it hotter add more chili.
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Ginger add more if you prefer
2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
2-3 Tablespoons Chopped garlic
One shake of Onion powder.
Brown Chicken in a large deep frying pan slowly adding all ingredients. When chicken is cooked through add brown sauce and stir well.
Divide Ramen into bowls and spoon chicken sauce over . Dinner is served.
I found my Asian ingredients at Big Lots for a dollar or two for the oyster sauce and chili sauce.
