This recipe is so easy and tasty that you're probably better off making a double batch from the get-go!
4 C. quick oats
1 c. Packed brown sugar
1/2 c. Butter, melted
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
In a large bowl combine all ingredients: mix
For a bit of variety add 1/2 - 2/3 cup chopped nuts, seeds or raisins.
For cinnamon Granola Bars- add 1 tsp cinnamon with the rest of the ingredients.
For Cinnamon Apple Granola Bars- add 1/2 c. finely chopped DRIED Apples & 1 tsp cinnamon
