Guest Post or Sponsored Post?

Sometimes freelance writers aren’t clear as to whether their post qualifies as a guest post or a sponsored post.

✔️ If you are a blogger or freelance writer seeking to expand your reach and are not receiving compensation in any way for sharing your post and the links within it then it likely qualifies as a Guest Post.

✔️ If your site is example.com and the content within it are primarily free/informational, it’s a guest post.

🛑 If you are receiving compensation for sharing the post, for example, your site primarily sells/reviews products or services, or you were paid to place links for SEO purposes, etc then it is considered a sponsored post, advertising rates apply.

🛑 If your site is example.com/BLOG and the main domain is a business/commerce/marketplace/review site, it’s a sponsored post, advertising rates apply.

Guest Post Content Guidelines

1. Content must be a minimum of 1,400 words
2. Must be unique, on-topic with our site, and contain proper grammar.
3. All articles must include at least 2 large images that you have taken/created (think pin-able). We do not accept stock photos (free or paid). You must own the rights to the images you’ve shared.
4. The content must be of benefit and interest to our audience.
5. Once the article is published you agree to share it across your social media platforms within 48 hours of publication, else the link(s) within is/are removed.

If you’re using an article you’ve created prior it would need to be reworded in such a way that Google wouldn’t penalize for duplicate content. Please note that we do not recommend the use of article spinners or ai, if the content doesn’t have a clear human voice, it will not be accepted.

Our Guest Post Link Policy

1. No affiliate links or spam
2. You may include up to 2 relevant links back to your own qaulifying website articles.
3. Guest post links back to a blogger site with Domain Authority of 50 or Above are DO-FOLLOW.
   Sites with a domain authority below 50 are listed as rel=”ugc”.  Links that qualify as do-follow will not be listed as such until we receive notification the article has been shared on all social media platforms.
4. Spam Score Notice If, at any point, your site’s Moz spam score rises above 10%, your Do Follow link will revert to rel=”ugc noopener noreferrer”

As stated above, the links must be relevant to the content and we will remove links that lead to pages lacking in substantial editorial content. It is our policy to remove or no-follow all links that lead to businesses/sites that primarily sell products or services, this includes product review sites.

If more than 2 links are included, our editorial team may remove them without further notice. Links that are included that clearly do not link to the bloggers’ website will be no-follow links. We do not guarantee publishing of any “supporting links”, they may be removed or changed at the discretion of the editorial team.

Guest posts are generally considered permanent, however, we reserve the right to remove under-performing posts that fail to resonate with our audience.

Author Biography

1. Provide an author biography with a link back to your site. We recommend 2-3 sentences with additional information about your site or products. This author biography is available (and editable) by clicking on your user profile.
2. Edit your User Profile to add your social media links as well
3. All author biography’s display on the user profile page, accessible by clicking on the authors name.

Requests for Topics or Titles

Often we’re asked to choose topics and/or titles for article submissions. We leave this up to the author’s discretion, after all, we don’t want to hamper your creativity!

Requests for Skype ID or Phone

Our team can be reached during normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm via our contact page. We do not offer phone services or contact for content publication.

Submission of a Sponsored Post Using Guest Post Form Warning
