    • Gingerbread Sugar Scrub

Soothe your dry skin with sensuous Gingerbread Sugar Scrub . . . or add it to a gift basket or spa jar for a gorgeous, useful yet inexpensive handcrafted gift.

      You'll Need:

      • 2 cups brown sugar - OR - 1 cup brown sugar AND 1 cup granulated sugar
      • 2 teaspoons cinnamon, powdered
      • 2 teaspoons ginger, powdered
      • 2 teaspoons nutmeg, powdered
      • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, powdered
      • 2 to 4 drops vanilla extract
      • 1 cup almond oil

Combine all in a small bowl, blending well.

How to Use a Body Scrub:

      1. Sit on the edge of a tub and moisten the area you wish to scrub.
      2. Place a tablespoon or so of the body scrub in the palm and gently work each area for approximately 1 minute. If you work too quickly you won't properly exfoliate.
      3. Be sure not to scour too hard or too long.
      4. If you want baby smooth skin, exfoliate once weekly.
      5. Body scrubs should never be used on the face.

Re: Repurposing Old Items into New Things!

One ugly headboard+one beat-up table+ an amazing carpenter with vision (with a little help from his side kick, me) = a really pretty creation just for my mom's birthday :-)

Re: improve a cake mix ?

I love all these suggestions! The Banana really sounds delicious. I've heard about the applesauce thing but I have never tried it yet. I am definitely going to try it this holiday season even if it's...

Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar or old mayonaise jar. Then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use for cleaning or bug spray. This is great for ants!

I like to substitute the Oil with applesauce they change over in equal parts on the measurements & add a small box of pudding mix into the batter.
