Oh my goodness! One time when my husband and I were broke all we could find in the house was a couple stale crusts of bread and a can of tuna. We made "fish gravy" which was basically cream of tuna on toast. This recipe sounds very similar!

My husband, having never had creamed tuna, spent months shaking his head about that "fish gravy." LOL!! I LOVED it!!

We had this alot when I was growing up. We always had it over mashed potatoes, but my son likes it over toast. You can also use canned salmon instead of the tuna. Yummy!!!
