    • Honey & Almond Scrub

Almonds are nearly famous for their nourishing benefits to the skin and almond oil is often favored for use in massage, but did you know that combing it with honey can clear your complexion, smooth and moisturize your skin and help exfoliate gently, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet?! Here's a simple scrub recipe you can throw together for a fabulous complexion . . .
      You'll Need:
1/2 c. Cold cream or plain yogurt
      1 T. Honey
      1 T. finely ground almonds

Grind the almonds in your blender, Mix in the honey and cold cream (or yogurt) until well blended.

Apply as a mask to face and neck for 2-3 minutes, rinse and enjoy the glow. Store any remaining in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Regarding the Almonds: We recommend using whole raw almonds that have been soaked for at least 6 hours. Almond skins contain phytic acid, an enzyme inhibitor, by soaking them, phytase is released, which counteracts the phytic acid (natures design to help keep the seeds from sprouting too soon!). Besides, you get twice as much nut for half the price!

Yup, that's what the Almond Milk recipe says to do with the leftovers!

One ugly headboard+one beat-up table+ an amazing carpenter with vision (with a little help from his side kick, me) = a really pretty creation just for my mom's birthday :-)

I love all these suggestions! The Banana really sounds delicious. I've heard about the applesauce thing but I have never tried it yet. I am definitely going to try it this holiday season even if it's...

Soak orange peels in vinegar for two weeks in a sealed mason jar or old mayonaise jar. Then pour the vinegar into a spray bottle. Use for cleaning or bug spray. This is great for ants!

I like to substitute the Oil with applesauce they change over in equal parts on the measurements & add a small box of pudding mix into the batter.
