Create fantastic cookies chock full of chocolate chips and tasty pecans in just a couple of minutes with this delicious Cowboy Cookie Mix in a jar!
This one is an oldie, but a goodie!

      You'll Need:

      1 1/3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
      1/2 cup sugar
      1/2 cup chopped pecans
      1 cup chocolate chips
      1 1/3 cups flour
      1 teaspoon baking powder
      1 teaspoon baking soda
      1/4 teaspoon salt

Measure each item into layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or alternatively, if you're just making a few cookie mixes to have on hand for your own family, simply measure the ingredients into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal. (The above list makes 1 complete Jar or 1 Pkg of Mix)

      Recipe Tag Directions:
Combine the following until well blended:
      1 Pkg Mix
      1 stick butter melted
      1 egg slightly beaten
      1 tsp vanilla

Shape into balls the size of walnuts place 2 inches apart on sprayed baking sheets.
Bake at 350F for 11 to 13 minutes until edges are lightly browned.

Wait, did you think there was more to it than that? Sorry to disappoint, we warned you these were Simple!

I like to use parchment paper for all my baking. It's not a necessity, but it helps keep the baking sheets newer and keep from getting oil build up.
