this salsa is amazing! I do have a question though, do you buy dried cilantro or dry cilantro after you buy it and how? I found one jar of cilantro, and used parsley for the rest of the recipe, it turned out great, would appreciate any feedback, thanks

Normally I grow my own cilantro (it spreads really rapidly & is super easy to grow!) and dry it in my food dehydrator. You can also dry your own in the oven (at 200F) on cooking racks set onto cookie sheets. Here's a complete how to dry your own herbs.

I have, on occasion, found cilantro at Aldi's for $1.00 per 2 oz container and also at Big Lots for $1. I'm not sure if you have either of those stores near you or not.

Cilantro grows VERY well in small pots indoors on a windowsill. It's a very tolerant plant and smells very nice too. (Well, I guess the jury is out on this one, I LOVE the smell of it, dh thinks it smells like Feet!).

Thanks, I do have an Aldi's, I checked there, ours dosn't have it. But I'm going to try growing some of my herbs, it gets alittle expensive buying them. Thanks for all the input!
