    • Casserole Seasoning Mix

      Casserole Seasoning Mix

      1 1/4 ts Black pepper
      3 tb Onion powder
      1 tb Garlic powder
      5 ts Salt
      2 tb Dried parsley flakes
      1 2/3 c Non-fat dry milk powder
      1/3 c Chopped dry onions
      3 1/3 tb Beef bouillon granules

      Combine dry spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar). Measure all into a ziploc bag, seal & shake to combine. Pour into a spice jar or bottle. Makes a Lovely Gift.

      Do not freeze. Use to prepare the following recipes, cheeseburger casserole, potato casserole or rice casserole, found elsewhere in Budget101.com

        Interesting. There have been a bunch of times when I wanted to make scalloped potatoes, but didn't have any milk. For some reason I never considered using the powdered milk that we always have on hand. Silly Me!
        I bet this would season scalloped potatoes nicely too.
